Plan Your First Visit

Whether you are new to the area or returning to the faith, you are warmly welcome at St. Paul Muiyengwet Parish.

When to Arrive

Our principal celebration is Sunday Swahili Mass from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We encourage arriving a few minutes early to find a seat and prepare quietly for worship.

What to Expect

  • The Mass follows the Roman Rite — the same liturgy celebrated worldwide in the Catholic Church
  • Our Sunday celebration is primarily in Swahili; hymns and responses may also include local languages
  • There is no dress code, but modest attire is appreciated as a sign of respect
  • Children and families are always welcome
  • Communion is reserved for Catholics in a state of grace; visitors may remain in the pew or approach for a blessing
